Horses
• All horses must be vetted & shod every 1st of a Real month. If you miss 2 months they will be taken away!
• Please don't create horse "just because", it clutters things up.
• If you wish to sell your horse(s),they must go to the 'SalesBarn'.
• Try not to own more horses than you can handle...by that I mean afford.
• Tall Oaks is an English discipline based game. You can own horses of other disciplines, but there will not be many shows for them unless I can find someone to run them.
• Keep horses realistic please! Is your REAL horse 16.7hh, flawless and purple?! DON"T THINK SO!!!! Make mistakes! Normal colors! And real heights!
Breeding
• Mares may begin breeding at age 4
• Stallions may begin breeding at age 3
• Pregnancy time for mares is 5 real days.
• You may put your stallions for stud on the 'Stud Board' where members can make a booking for their mare(s).
• When the foal is born you must post the parents' stats and the foal's stats in the "Horses" board.
• Make sure there is a place for the mare and foal to live. If you board your horses ask the stable owner how much it is for a mare and foal. They may give you a discount!
• Be Creative! There are, on occassion, stillbirths. There are also times in which a mare is bred but did not conceive.
